Who the Renegade fits best

The Renegade is the mountain pick of the fleet: real ground clearance, four good tyres, and a diesel that climbs the SH20 to Valbona without complaint. Book it for Theth, Valbona, the Rugova canyon and any trip where the last kilometres turn to gravel.

Documents and rules

• Age 18+, licence held for at least 1 year (young driver fee €5/day for 18-22)
• Passport or ID and driving licence at pickup: that is all
• Fuel policy full-to-full: leave it full, no refuelling fee
• Cross-border trips (Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia) need our written permission: the permit is €20 per country, paid at booking; the Green Card insurance is bought at the border
• No deposit does not mean no liability: damage and fines are covered by the rental agreement you sign

Can I get the Renegade delivered to my hotel?

Inside Tirana, €15. The airport desk is 4 minutes from arrivals on foot. Other cities: ask on WhatsApp, we deliver across Albania.

Manual or automatic?

The Renegade in our fleet is Automatic. Six of our eight models are, so an automatic in Tirana is our standard, not an upgrade.

Is the no-deposit policy real?

Java Rentals is a local team renting cars at Tirana International Airport (Rinas) and from our city desk in the centre of Tirana. We are open 24/7, there is no deposit, and you pay at pickup: collect your keys at our Rinas Airport office or our Tirana office, and you are on your way. Pick-up and drop-off at either office are free. Travelling further? We deliver across Albania, from Durrës and Shkodër to Vlorë and Sarandë; delivery fees apply.
