Java Rentals runs two desks, both open 24 hours a day, every day of the year: one at Tirana International Airport (Rinas), a 4-minute walk from the arrivals exit, and one in the city of Tirana, on Rruga e Durrësit. Pick-up and drop-off are free of charge at both, and there is no deposit and no prepayment anywhere: you pay in cash or by card when you collect the car.
Tirana Airport desk (Rinas)
The airport desk is a 4-minute walk from the arrivals exit of Tirana International Airport "Nënë Tereza" (Rinas), the main gateway to Albania, about 17 km north-west of the city centre. No shuttle bus, no off-site depot: you walk out of arrivals and the car is a 4-minute walk away. If your flight lands at 02:00, we are there at 02:00.
- Best for: landing or flying out: the car is waiting at the airport itself, with no transfer time at the start or end of your trip.
- Where: Tirana International Airport (Rinas), a 4-minute walk from the arrivals exit.
- Hours: open 24/7, including late-night and early-morning arrivals.
- How it works: book online or message us, send your flight number, walk out of arrivals, check the car together and drive away, with no counter queue.
Tirana city desk
The city desk is at Rruga e Durrësit, at the corner of Rr. Mihal Duri, a few minutes from the centre of Tirana. You do not have to fly in to rent from us: if you are living in Tirana, staying with family, or arriving by bus or ferry, this is the easier place to collect the car. Pick-up and drop-off here are free, exactly like the airport.
- Best for: already in Tirana: residents, long stays, or arrivals by bus or ferry.
- Where: Rruga e Durrësit, corner of Rr. Mihal Duri, Tirana.
- Hours: open 24/7, the same as the airport desk.
- How it works: book online or message us, come to the desk at your chosen time, check the car together and drive away.
Same terms at both desks
- No security deposit and nothing blocked on your card (no deposit, no prepayment).
- Unlimited kilometres and the third-party insurance required by Albanian law, included.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up.
- Fuel policy: same to same.
- Minimum age 18, licence held at least 1 year; drivers 18–22 pay €5 per day.

Collect somewhere else instead
Both desks are free of charge. We also deliver anywhere in Albania for a fee:

Many customers land at Rinas, drive off straight away and return the car at the airport on their way home. Others collect at the city desk and leave the car there. Both are fine; tell us what you need when you book.
